James just started filming a short featuring the teddy bear he has had since he was 4 years old.
James Evans is an accomplished and award winning writer and director. His short film "Life Lines" has been screened at The Big Apple Film Festival, The Beverly Hills Shorts Festival (Winner Best Dramedy), The Method Fest (Nomination Best Short), The Big Island Film Festival, The Trail Dance Film Festival, The Detroit Independent Film Festival, The New York City SAG Foundation and The Big Easy Film Festival (Best Short Drama and Best Actress). James's theatrical credits include writing and directing the rock opera We're All Dead (Chashama, Ohio Theatre and Blue Heron Arts Center), Invert (The Cherry Lane Theatre), Approaching America (The Midtown International Theater Festival and Playwrights Collective), Ding (HERE and Showworld) and Three Plays Called Parks (The Other Side Theatre). He has an MFA in Playwriting from Columbia University and a BA in Theater and Creative Writing from the College of Santa Fe.
